The project “Environmentally Sustainable Electrification of Medical Points and Schools in Chad” was implemented in cooperation with Kouran Jabo from Chad, who installed photovoltaic panels at each of the three locations. The project was co-financed under the Polish Government’s Development Assistance Program, Polska Pomoc. Program included set of trainings for people regarding fixing solar kits to get a new occupation in N’Djamena, Chad.
As part of the project, photovoltaic panels were delivered to a school built by the Salesians in N’Djamena, Chad, and to two health centers that previously had no electricity supply outside the capital.
The total number of annual beneficiaries of the aid is over 10,000 people, mostly children (students of the school) and newborns and their mothers (at the health centers).
